My Favorite Oil-Free Hummus!! (Makes 5 servings, approx. ½ cup each) #GlutenFree, #NonDairy, Quick ‘n’ Easy, #Vegan, #Vegetarian Total Time: 5 min. Cooking Time: None 1 (15 oz.) can chickpeas (garbanzo beans but I also use black beans when I’m out), drained, but keep the liquid! ¼ cup tahini paste ¼ cup fresh lemon juice 2 cloves garlic ¼ tsp. salt 1. Place chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, and salt in food processor or blender and pulse until very smooth. 2. If hummus is too thick, add 2 Tbsp. of the reserved chickpea liquid and pulse again. Repeat until desired consistency is reached. Tips: 🥕 Serve as a snack with your favorite fresh veggies, like baby carrots, celery sticks, bell peppers, radishes, broccoli and cauliflower florets, or cherry tomatoes. 🥪 This hummus makes a delicious spread on toast or in wraps, or add to salads and Buddha bowls. 🌶 Customize this oil-free hummus recipe by adding roasted red peppers, fresh herbs, chipotles in adobo, roasted garlic, or spices like ground cumin, ground paprika, or ground cayenne pepper. 🥛To make this hummus lighter and tangier, add up to ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt. If following @2Bmindset : It’s an FFC side. Add raw dipping veggies to make this a great snack(tional).
